That is exactly what I meant by no-brainer ... lol

1. Do you have something to join in the first place?

2. Can you join in a maximum effect fighting formation?

3. Is there a purpose for being not joined?

etc ...

I guess what I meant was that the decision on this is perhaps so
basic, it would not drive more than a ten minute conversation, much
less an e-discussion.

My opinion of course.

What is meant by a clinic? Is it a face to face thing or an online
thing.

My two cents is that I would like it to be about field fortifications
or similar, or alternatively about camps and transport generally.

Fortifications and similar are rarely used here in Australia.
Obstacles and hazards like stakes and caltrops are used from time to
time.

I have been furiously trying to decide what I am going to take to our
tournament in Newcastle this weekend, finally deciding only last
night on Sassanids.

The difficulty on deciding has been due to the fact that this is our
first open Warrior Tournament, the other two that we have held being
Fast Warrior and Dark Ages Warrior.

I vote for field fortifications. I have been trying to use them and
need help understanding them. My Romano-Britains really need them

Ah, I see. Well, don't think there's any harm in an 11+ minute discussion of
that here, especially if it helps a new player, given what we will spend longer
on...lol

Clinics are written 'primers' for certain aspects of Warrior available in the
files section of this egroup and also published in NASAMW's Spearpoint
newsletter.

Temp fortifications is getting a lot of votes to be #4. Numbers 1-3 are in the
files section and #3 is about camps.

I only found clinics one and three, am I overlooking #2 or is it not there?

Thanks.
