No, probably my fault but what i'm meant to be asking about is about
approach moves, moving a body past the shoulder of an enemy body, how close can
it
be?
Have we just imagined this shoulder rule...?
Can i just move a unit past an enemy's shoulder at 40 paces?

** i understood, not very well tho, that sometimes you cannot get this close
- it is these circumstances we are interested in. When you are pasing a unit
with the intention of charging it in the flank.

Yes, there's nothing about the gap rule that permits someone closer than 40p in
approaches, but there's alsp nothbing about it preventing you from moving by an
enemy at >40p.
