Someone mentioned a 1600 point Ghaznavid list, so I thought I would
take a spin. Probably not a very good first attempt, but probably
something that can be tweaked to usefullness.

1x C-in-C PA Irr B El, 1JLS,1P +1 stand Irr B El, 1JLS, 1P, 1B @175

2x Sub General Reg A HC L B Sh +1 stand Reg B HC L B Sh @127ea = 254

2x 2-stand Ghulams Reg B HC L B Sh @88ea = 176

2x 2-stand Elephants Irr B El, 1JLS, 1P, 1B @121ea = 242

2x 2-stand Ghaznavid Infantry Reg C HI JLS B Sh @66ea = 132

3x 2-stand Dailami Spearmen Reg B LHI JLS B Sh @74ea = 222
24 incendiary shots @24

2x 4-stand Archers Reg C LI B Sh @42ea = 84

2x 2-stand Archers Reg C Li B Sh @26ea = 52

3x 6-stand Irr C LC B, 1/2 JLS @79ea = 237

Points 1598
Scouting 68
Units 19

This list tries to be more balanced, and have more to do than
slamming the enemy with ten elephants. Too many Moogs and cheap foot
archers to try that around here ... and we mostly play with two
lists, with the second one having an irritating way of being
specifically designed to deal with elephant armies. :-)

Infantry with long pointy things will be an issue. The hope would be
that our size will be a problem for those types of armies. If nothing
else, we might be able to spread out and get some flank shots with
the 2-stand Piranha unit effect.

All in all, an army that seems like fun and everyone that plays it
will probably come up with a differnt way to build it.
