I am looking for a selection of 25mm medieval or perhaps middle eastern
for a scenario. I have failed miserably in googling for manufacturers
of same. Does anyone have products that they like that are
manufactured by someone still in business?
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Chris

JR Miniatures has some medieval 25/28mm tents, but LoneStar is out of them i
think. You could try them direct i believe.

I made some 25 mm tents for late roman out of index cards that I trimmed,
folded, and painted. I'm not familiar with medieval tents but if they were
made of leather squares in a rectangular shape that should work.

Thunderbold Mountain Miniatures has some very nice Medieval tents
and pavilions sculpted by Tom Meier.

Thanks Dave. They certainly have some beautiful figures. It seems
that they have sold out of them and since decided that it is not
worth making any more. I can see the point, best case scenario,
every gamer out there buys a few only and of course those statistics
are highly unrealistic. I will continue my crusade so to speak...
Thanks again.

I've made round medieval style pavilions out of printer paper and
simply painted them. They're self supporting, and with a little
fiddling you can model them open or closed. They're based on the very
accurate reproductions of medieval tents made by the people at Past
Tents (they have provided the pavilions for the interpreters at the
Leeds Armoury musueum and others...)
You can see what their tents at this link:

If this is what you're looking for I'll see about getting my scanner
working and post the pattern as well as a couple of pics of mine...
The pattern is flexible, and is scaled you can make a centre pole and
wagon wheel if you want to do an interior.
Have fun!
