After much thought I have spent an afternoon and actually thrown
together a revised Warrior list for this army based on using WRG
6th-ed & NASAMW-list troop types with more recent content taken from
the DBM army lists (mainly in the notes and in the now-mandatory Irish
foot).

I have tried to make the hobilars fit in better for the period of the
list in which they are actually a seperate troop type. I have also
tried to permit appropriate up-arming of longbowmen reflecting their
increasing specialization as missile-only troops after the appearance
of billmen to take on the melee duties.

Throughout I have also tried to be kind in setting mins and maxes with
an eye toward the 'suggested unit sizes'.

I am posting it to the Files section (it is a MS-Word2K document).
Hopefully the format is readable by other software and versions. If
not let me know and I can attempt to convert it.

It will likely be a while before this one is looked at by the List Ho
but I wanted to toss it out there and get comments (beyond the usual
'what a piece of *&%$').

As a hardened Anglo Irish player, I can provide you with the incomplete
NASAMW list. This will go fine until the official Warrior list. Numbers in
figures

CIC EHK L SH or HC, JLS SH
ALLY Gen HC, JLS SH (no subs)
Cavalry
0-12 Reg B EHK L SH (Middle or Late)
0-27 Irreg B HC, JLS SH
0-16 Irreg C LC JLS

Foot
0-48 Ostmen Irreg B LHI 2HCW Sh (Early Period Not wedgeable)
0-72 Irish Foot Irreg C LMI 2HCW JLS or JLS SH (mix and match as you see fit)
0-144 Kerns Irreg C LI JLS
Shields up to 1/2
0-72 Galloglaich 1/2 Irreg B HI 2HCW JLS D, 1/2 Irreg B MI 2HCW JLS D
0-72 Welsh LB Irreg C LMI LB (early period)
0-96 English LB Reg D MI or LMI LB (middle and late)
option to upgrade half to L/HI
option to upgrade half with shields
0-32 English LB Reg C HI LB Sh horse(late)
0-48 Billman Reg D MI 2HCT
option to upgrade half to HI
0-16 Hobliers Reg MI LTS Sh Horse
Option to HI
0-100 Rising out Irreg D LMI IPW
Galloglaich and HC can have detachments of Kerns.

There is more to the list but these are all I use or remember.
It works well in 25mm scale, not quite as well in 15mm.
This is my typical list:
#UNITS #FIGURES IRREG/REG
1 1 CIC EHK L SH
+ 1 PAreg
+ 5 Reg B EHK L SH
1 1 Ally B HC JLS SH
+ 1 Pirreg
+ 5 Irreg B HC JLS SH
1 6 Reg B EHK L SH
3 12 Irreg B HI 2HCW JLS D
+ 12 Irreg B MI 2HCW JLS D
+ 6 Detirreg C LI JLS SH
+ 6 Irreg C LI JLS
3 12 Reg D HI LB SH
+ 12 Reg D MI LB
1 8 Reg D HI LTS SH Horse
1 6 Irreg C LMI JLS 2HCW
+ 12 Irreg C LMI JLS SH
1 6 Irreg B HC JLS SH

Enjoy
Phil

One more thing about Anglo Irish troop types. I have heard that the 4
horsemen will be changing the Galloglaich. Probably to ½ HI 2HCW JLS and ½
MI JLS SH, as they are in fast warrior. I will miss the darts, they made the
list very competitive.
