Moderator says list discussions are totally ok! One of the reasons for the
group.

Apologies to those who could care less what these specific list
questons. Maybe I should email the List Ho directly (please
advise). On the Early German list, I thought that there were some
tribes that fought in a looser formation than others (similar to
their Gallic neighbors). Additionally, Duncan Head I believe,
indicated that the Dacians may have occasionally allied themselves
with Germans toward the end of the period that List 57 covers. Is
their a possiblity that a German player (namely myself), might have
the option to convert some warbands to LMI (from MI).

Also, Tacitus indicated that the German women and children would
often provide moral and physical support(sort of like a triage unit)
to their menfolk in battle. This (according to Tactius) gave the men
courage and the desire to 'battle the odds', which may have led to
the Roman opinion that the Germans staying power (stubborn) was
greater than their Gallic neighbors. Is there anyway to add an
element or two of weomenfolk (Foundry has some cool figs), which
could act as a sacred banner or shrine, or something like that?

Additionally (sorry), Tacitus refers to the Haraii as the most
ferocious of all German tribes that use darkness and the forest to
their advantage, and fill the Romans with Terror. Now, since I have
40 painted Haraii with appropriate dark Woad tatoo's, any chance that
those could be Irreg. A LMI upgrades.

TIA.

Dave
