Chris et al
I am not really 'answering' anything.  Recent emails that have rules questions in them are being saved for when I return.  I have about seven as of tonight - be patient - I will answer them.

Please add 10 x Smile to the end of every sentence below.  :)

As for regulars in COMPLETE ranks (note I did not say even number of elements), and for that matter any other issue long since decided by FHE for Warrior's basic rule book, you guys can debate amongst yourselves here all you like - that is what this egroup is for.  What I would not do (just a recommendation) is spend any time:

-trying to convince us to change any of the basic issues we decided two years ago when we formed this company.
-assuming that we are not willing to make such changes because of a 'deadline'.  we have considered them and have the answer already - we are not rushing to a deadline leaving major sections of the rules broken just to get this thing published.  we have DECIDED on our point system.  we have DECIDED to have regulars in complete ranks.  we have DECIDED the stirrup alone wasn't a big deal.  The FH are comfortable that those decisions are correct and have seen no evidence to the contrary (and absolutely no 'new' evidence at all).

These things are core FHE decisions.  Made ones.  Debate until the cows come home.  Submit 1000 x-rules.  But emails to one of us trying to convince us to change one of them in the core rules is not the best use of your time.

Now, we know there are new guys joining the group all the time (yay!!) who have not been a part of the development of this game engine and its army lists over the past 15 years.  We read the mails those folks send, and our mails back that answer 'no' and inform the sender that that issue was debated and decided a long time ago are not meant to be rude, just informative.

Oh, and one more thing.  This is Warrior.  Not WRG 7.7.  Not WRG 8.  Warrior.  No decision was made to use any part of the Warrior engine just because it was in WRG 7.6.  Each component had to stand on its own merits.

Vacationing Jon
