I find all this rules discussion hard to stomach - I'd rather be
gaming...and drinking...and whoring...etc, etc ( taking a line from a
cartoon series on SCFI channel - Chode)
I live near Newburgh, NY. Located centrally within a couple of hours
of almost anywhere in the tri-state area. I'm willing to drive vast
distances...have many armies to loan. Just need a sparring partner.
Or...come to my place. No wives. No kids. No pets. Just lead and lots
of it. Any takers?

Hey Tim!
Short answer: yes.
Long answer: Bill Low is in theory organising a small event at
his place, but I haven't heard back from him as to whether this
is actually happening. If I don't hear today, I'd be delighted
to come over for a day - preferably Sunday - and throw lead
around. Suit?

You've got a load of folks up there. Dave M is in NYC. Todd's also around but
his schedule is soooo problematic now that he's a responsible
adult/teach/father:) And don't forget that Rob Turnball is in Maine of all
places although that might be a bit far to go. I'm leaving out the two Hos that
live in the area plus a slew more.
Hey Jeff Z? Could you perhaps post a list of names and cities that folks in the
NE who are NASAMW members? Obviously there would be some non-Warrior players in
there but it would give us a start. We really need to have this type of listing
online in some manner so like-minded players (ie play the same set of rules) can
easily ID each other and arrange more gaming.

Rob Turnball is, I believe, in the process of collating this for
the NE - not just NASAMW folk, in fact, but as many local
ancients gamers as we can shake out of the trees.
Scott's right, though - the number of Warrior folk up here is
pretty decent, and the distances are not as huge as out West. I
think what we need to do next is ensure that all our wives and
kids become best friends and want to hang out without us. Now,
*there's* an ambitious project .

GREAT! Sounds perfect. Please let me know Ewan if Bill's event plays
out - I haven't seen the old man in a long time... *grin*
Sunday it is otherwise...email me off line and I'll provide
directions/cell number, etc. You KNOW...we could probably sell
tickets to watch us game!

Update for list, in case anyone else is browsing: there is indeed
a Wilton event, 12 noon (prompt!) at Bill's house, 1600 points,
one list if it matters. Looking like 2x3 hour games.

Posting personal information on the Internet without people's express
permission is a really, really bad idea.

The price of freedom is infernal vigilantes
"That the People have a right to keep and bear Arms; that a well
regulated Militia, composed of the Body of the People, trained to
arms, is the proper, natural, and safe Defence of a free state." --
Within Mason's declaration of "the essential and unalienable Rights
of the People," -- later adopted by the Virginia ratification
convention, 1788

Doug, please see _www.nasamw.org_ (http://www.nasamw.org) . Cities of
members are already listed there, despite infernal vigilantes...lol

Shame on them. Things like this need to be opt-in, not opt-out,
because by the time you notice the information is already out.
