I think Jon answered this one, but he did not mention the following.

I think you give your opponent the number of points you go over when
you are figuring out points of who killed what.

Since you get 1 tourney point for just 1 point of troops you are
giving your opponent a guaranteed 1 tourney point, maybe more for him
and less for you if the game is close to double or +150 points of one
side's troops versus the other.

Now, I can't find the reference to adding in these points in the
rules anymore. So am I (a) imagining this (b) trying to hold
something over from TOG (immaterial which of a or b really) or (c) is
this the case for Warrior and I just am unable to find it.

This is incorrect, if one is using 14.0 for scoring.
