We'd like to invite everyone to a Warrior Tourney on Aug 16th at LoneStar
Comics in Fort Worth (504 E Abram St
Arlington, TX). This was originally the "Bring Your Favorite Newbie
Tournament" sponsored by Harlan Garrett.

DETAILS:
Single 1600pt list: using standard Warrior lists and the FHE supersession
list (see www.fourhorsemenenterprises.com).
15mm on a 4X6 table.
3 rounds on Sat.

Random pairings for the first round. First round pairs will be random to
the extent that people traveling together from the same geographical area
will be split up as much as possible. Second and third round will randomly
pair opponents of like standing at that time. Scoring will be standard
scoring system from Warrior core rules. Total points for the three rounds
will determine final position, with the tie breaker being most total enemy
points acquired.
1st round starts at 8:00am.
Rounds are 3.5 hours each with a 1 hour break between. 15 minutes prior to
the end of the round, notice will be given. No new bounds may begin after
this notice, but the current bound will be concluded to both opponents
satisfaction.

Team Option:
Although this is NOT a team tourney, anyone who is willing to team up with a
newer player to give them some tourney experience is welcome to do so. At
this time we have three players who have built armies with a partner in
mind. If you are willing to design an army with a command that can be run
by a newer player, please do so, and let us know ASAP. Again Teams are NOT
a requirement for entry into the tourney, and single players are extremely
welcome and will be treated exactly the same as a team. Teams are intended
to be an experienced player coupled with a lesser experienced player. Team
members are allowed to talk freely amongst themselves during the game. If
you wish to play in the tourney as an inexperienced team member feel free to
join us. We will pair you up at the door if you do not have a team mate. We
currently have 3 players in this category.

Entrance Fee: is $5 per army, teams split the fee any way they see fit.

Prizes: Misc. prizes will be awarded. Prizes will include, but not be
limited to 1st place, best painted unit, highest placing by a team, and most
CPF to a single enemy unit in 1 bound. Prizes won by teams will be divided
as the team sees fit.

If you wish to enter please contact Patrick Byrnes at cuan@... ASAP
(this will assist in table reservations). In the contact email please
indicate if you are entering as a single, a team, are willing to be an
experienced teammate, or desire an experienced teammate.
