Elric Walker (Alabama) 7 points - Feudal Japanese
Daniel Harris (Alabama) 5 points - Gallic

Round 1
Ted victorious over Daniel, 5 - 1
Martin victorious over Elric, 5 -1
John victorious over Roger, 5 -1

Round 2
Ted victorious over Martin, 5 -0
John victorious over Elric, 5 - 1
Roger victorious over Daniel, 4 - 3

Final Round

Martin and Roger draw, 3 - 3
Elric victorious over Daniel, 5 - 1

As the organiser and erstwhile referee, I'd like to extend my thanks to all who
attended for their participation and cooperation. Most calls for a referee were
quickly settled by a quick chek of the rulebook and an agreement on what was
said and how it applied to the situation. Special thanks to Ted, John and
Martin for their patientce and help in games with my son Elric and his friend
Daniel. Both are new Warrior players. In fact, Daniels first tournament game was
his 5th ever.

We held a demo game Friday night, a prelude to Saturday's second round Bleymme -
Gaul match-up. It proved a bloody battle both days. I was joined by Martin,
Daniel and Ed Spiess (an old friend from Mobile who played 7th in the day). We
attracted some measure of interest and I passed out Mark Stones excellent
'Warrior Rules of Thumb' to those who stopped by.

While I had hoped for a better turn out, the tournament was far from
disappointing. The number of players was the same as last year, but half were
first time attendees. We missed having 8 players when two of our Mobile guys hit
last minute scheduling problems. I for one am looking forward to next year and a
bigger, better, Bayou Warrior tournament.

Finally, thanks go to the entire team of Bayou Wars for their efforts in holding
the convention and to Allen Bostick as Games Coordinator for his work in getting
us set up.

Roger Walker

Hi All,

Had a great time at my second Bayou Wars. I'll get an AAR out this week on
my latest two-wheelin' experience, but do want to say it was a real blast.
Lookin' forward to next year!

John

P.S. Did anyone find an orphaned CW List book in their stuff when they got
home?
