Hello,
I am new to the group and have a couple of questions - apologies if
they seem simple!

1) Rule 6.161 gives the conditions under which Light Troops may
charge. Does this also mean that they cannot respond with a
countercharge as this must abide by all the same rules as a charge?

2) If an Elephant with light infantry attached to the base reaches a
minor water feature (in rout) that is crossable only by swimming
cavalry or fording elephants what does it do?

Thanks for any help, Raphael

That is correct.

<<2) If an Elephant with light infantry attached to the base reaches a

Good question.

First, we apparently have not addressed routers meeting impassable terrain.
Here's an official clarification: a routing body that meets impassable terrain
is destroyed.

Ok, now, those LI on the base are still LI. Therefore a minor water feature of
that difficulty is impassable to such a body, therefore when it routs into it it
is destroyed.

Note that we have the revised text on Warrior rule 12 (and 14) in the files
section. I'll be updating it with this information as soon as I get time and
will announce it here.

Jon
