This weekend sees the Biblical Warrior competition being held in
Newcastle.
We have 18+ players attending, fielding 1200 points on 8' x 6' tables
with 3 hour games and pre-placed terrain.
One of the pleasing factors is the wide range of army types. We have
3 Kushites, 2 NKE, 2 Akkadian, 2 Cimmerian, and 1 of lots of other
armies - so much diversity. This is an indication of the strengths
that can be found in many of the lists when mixed against opponents
in period.
It should be an interesting weekend, as hardly any of the players
have probably used any of these armies before.
We shall report back next week, and include some photos of armies and
terrain utilised.

Biblical is my fav period. I have two armies in 25mm (Sumerian of various
flavors and Late Hebrew). Our best looking theme tournaments up here have been
these simply because you don't see the armies that often and all those wheels!
Have a great tourney and please post copious after aftion reports here.
Oh, and how are you structuring this? Any list restrictions, etc?
