Jon,

These came up in a game last night:

Do baggage camps have flanks? This would matter in determining whether or not LI
or LC need to be prompted to charge them (or are even eligible to charge them, I
suppose).

Also, I seem to recall that elephants ignore the effects of caltrops, but I
wasn't able to locate where in the rules it says so. Am I reverting to TOGisms
again?

P.S. Hoping for the availability of Oriental Warrior as a Christmas present.

Mark,

I'll leave the rules answers to Jon and any other
person who wants to hazard his wrath. As far as the
TOGisms go, your not exhibiting any of that. It's just
hardening of the arteries and nothing more. Or you
could think of it as a form of advanced Alzeimers! :)

Technically a camp has a flank. However, the intent is clearly to allow a body
to charge a camp when it has the opportunity to do so.
Consider the following an official clarification which will be in the new
rulebook -

6.163 (Pg 3Cool Prompting. Add a 7th bullet:
o on a body consisting of or entirely mounted on non-fighting transport
elements.

Elephants are definitely affected by caltrops!

Jon
