<<A few weeks ago I bought a copy of a Classical (2nd Punic War, actually)
Diplomacy game, which I hope to use as a game engine for a Punic War campaign,
using FW armies as the basic units and fighting out the battles instead of using
regular Diplomacy rules. After the last 2 battles, I think this will be fun-

We have started the writing for Campaign Warrior so any lessons you learn or
ideas you get, please pass them along.

<with hand raised and waving frantically> Oh, oh, teacher...

I recently ran a campaign using a Diplomacy-like system and had played
in and helped run another previously a few years ago. Everyone had a
blast in the first one. The second time around I got a bit burned out
trying to ump a campaign on the web, and the matchups on the map were
not the greatest - this is one issue you need to really double-check
before you begin. Both were using not-to-be-named rule set for battles
but I think you might be interested in the much-evolved but trimmed
down campaign rules.

There are a number of issues which come up in a system like this and
have to worked out but the rules we wound up with seem to address most
of them now.

Rather than bore everyone else with them just send me an e-mail
address and I'll forward them. They are an html document which I have
taken down off my webpage a while back.

Put your document in the files section of the group.

Okay it is there.
It will be obvious by the offending trinome for the battle rules the
campaign used.
Please note I haven't made the slightest effort to edit this file in
months so it represents the pristine version with which we began and
ran the last campaign.
The hyperlinks in the file will not work since they point to other
files. But you do not need them to follow the rules.
