Jon,

A few campaign warrior questions after two weeks of playing:

1. Can AP be converted back to GP? Currently we are assuming no since not
addressed in the rules or did I miss something.

2. 10.32 Mercenaries (p. 19) Is it the intent of this section to allow AP
that currently exists in someone standing army on the campaign map to be
sold and moved to another province in other than standard movement. Such as
buying another players AP (standing troops that exist on the campaign map
and currently occupying a city) and move them during the next attrition
phase to a province that would be outside of normal movement.

I would assume since these troops already exist, they cannot be sold to
another played and mysteriously jump to a province that is considerable
distance away. If I read this section correctly, I believe this section is
referring to buying AP (mercenaries troops) that do not yet exist in the
campaign and these troops may be place any where agreed upon by both
players. Am I correct?

After two weeks of campaigning, we very happy with that way the game is
progressing and the ease of the campaign rules.

One general comment, we modified the weather attrition rules slightly.
Since our campaign is in Europe and the Eastern Mediterranean, we created a
weather line that donates which provinces suffer from poor weather in the
winter (extreme cold) and which provinces suffer from poor weather in the
summer (extreme heat).

Harlan, I did get this the first time, but haven't been near my CamWar1.4.
Sorry for any delay.

No. they exist and once AP exist on the map, there is no magic move. They'll
have to get wherever they are going with an FC.

Jon,

I am sorry, as the San Antonio guys know, I do have a habit of being a
little impatient.

I do have one suggestion:

If a FC gets wounded in combat (Warrior Core Rules - Catastrophes 10.4) from
preparatory shooting, how long is he out of the campaign? My I suggest the
following:

D6
1 = FC dies of wounds in 1-3 turns (d6/2)
2 = Returns at the end of the second attrition phase
3-5 = Returns at the end of the next attrition phase
6 = Returns at the end of the next gold phase

Just a friendly suggestion.

Harlan

wounded.

that in electrons and send to you.

That isn't what I use, but I do not object to it until I can get you the
right one.
