I'm piping in late here, as I've had to spend a little time thinking
this over.

Unlike Derek and some others, I don't have a big problem with
uncosted list rules. Not all armies in Warrior are created equal,
and there are many cases where an army is only viable as a
competitor in a tournament because of list rules providing some
balance against better lists.

That said, I am less of a fan of the Hannibal/Alexander rules not
because I think the effects are all that bad, but because Hannibal
and Alexander did not lead every battle fought by their respective
armies.

Even worse, if two Alexandrian Macedonian or Carthaginian armies
meet, Hannibal and Alexander will be leading both sides, which fails
my suspension of disbelief test in a big way.

That and the justly raised points of contenders for the all time
greatest generals like Caesar or Scipio, and the presence of at
least one inspirational leader in almost every nation at one time or
another will continue to make this a contentious issue.

So I guess all said and done, I'm not uncomfortable with the
effects, just the way they were implemented...

Have fun
Cole
