Warrior Ancient and Medieval Rules

I have a unit if 4hHCH engaged in the second bound of hth. Chariot
crews are 1 2HCT, 1 B. Can the bow crew shoot in support? They are
front rank of an hth engaged unit but do they count as "armed chariot
crew" engaged in hth along with the 2HCT or because they are in a
chariot as bow who can shoot in support?

No. The rule is:

"8.83 Shooting in Hand-to-Hand. Bodies already in hand-to-hand contact from the
previous bound can only shoot at their opponents and then only with bow from a
rank of figures not eligible to fight (9.2)."

The former. They are armed crew giving out the -1 for fighting 2HCT.
