Just a thought. How achievable would it be to put all that stuff
onto a CD and sell it along with the rules? Or even include it with
the reprinted rules?
More convenient than downloading a bunch of stuff (esp. for those who
can't get into the y*hoo files section in the first place).

Well, there won't be any need to sell a CD with clarifications with
the revised rules as all the clarifications will be in the text.
I would expect, given the number of ways one might get to the info,
even if not able to get there oneself (like having a friend download
it on CD, etc) that there's no market to justify making them and
selling them.
Like with anything else in business, it has to be more than a good
idea. It has to meet the cost-benefit common sense test.
