There are no Thracian HC in CW List 3 (Early Hoplite), so that part of the
question is moot. Thessalians are "Greek" (as are Thebans), and they can have
hamippoit detachments. Asiatic and Scythian HC cannot.
Note that in the line list, the only troops that can be upgraded to hamippoi
detachments are Javelinmen (nationality not designated, but they are or should
be some kind of Greek).
Bill and I think that in this case case we may need erata ... e.g., "Only Greek
(including Thessalian and Theban) HC may have hamippoi detachments." so I'll be
doing that in the near future.

Thanks Scott
I could have sworn there were Thracian Cavalry there somewhere...
I was assuming that "Greek Cavalry" was "Greek Cavalry" and NOT Thessalian
Cavalry OR Theban Cavalry. Sadly, from trying to understand the old Hoplite
list, I learned to take everything ABSOLUTELY literally...

Ah, yes. I would like to add my support to this notion. It is indeed the
case :-)

Yes, I agree.

Another way to handle this would be to specify at the beginning of CW, or
after each list, who is Greek (Athenians, Spartans, Thebans, Thessalians,
etc.)and who is not (e.g., Thracians and Illyrians). Macedonians, of
course, represent a special case Good work guys!
