I want to heartily concur with this sentiment. More than anyone I have ever
encountered in gaming, Dave M. has demonstrated to me that it is possible to be
a serious and focused competitor while being gracious and a gentleman at the
same time. I'd go so far as to say that Dave has -- indirectly, because he
would never actually say anything about it -- made me re-examine my own
attitudes during competitive play. I'm trying to change for the better (yeah,
yeah, some of you guys know _exactly_ what I'm talking about...).

Dave M. makes me believe that the title "gentleman competitor" is more worthy
than the title "champion", and he has amply demonstrated that one can achieve
both.
