together well. >>

What are the 'new' Lists referred to? Are these the 'Book of Hosts' by
Froud and company? Yes, they certainly do have their share of problems, from
poor proofreading and math to history. For example, while they cover all
sorts of minor arcane armies, the Romans seem to stop well before Pyrrhus,
then start again with the Punic Wars. In addition, unless I misread them,
Romans go from hastati-principes-triarii of pilum pilum spear to pilum spear
spear, instead of the other way around. If you have problems like that with
Republican Romans, you probably shouldn't be writing Lists for Eshnunnites.

The lists are the Clark and Hutchby books 1-3 for 7th edition. Here
in Oz we have only just now got our hands on the NAW lists (6th ed
with modifications) so we have only been using the old 6th edition
and the new Clark and Hutchbys.
