If it is not too late, I vote for choice 1. A messenger has been
dispatched from a unit telling it to do a particular thing. The
messenger arrives. Too bad if the situation has changed
dramatically. These are troops being given orders with hell to pay if
they don't follow them. If the situation changes, prompt a different
command next bound.
