So far I only count four non D&D votes Robert, it looks like we need to start painting Orcs and Elves. David B.

Guys
For you die hard historical only types, let me reassure you of a couple things.
First, no matter how the 'voting' comes out on next rules supplement, no rules
supplement will supercede support to the basic game: answering questions,
posting the official clarifications, x-rules, o-rules, play aids, examples of
play, etc. That will ALWAYS be job 1.
If, in fact, the 'voting' comes out Fantasy Warrior, have no fear. It is
already mostly done. We have been suing a playtest version of it to get newbies
into our rookie playtest group. It is a handful of figures from Feudal French
to a fantasy army. But that is also true in reverse... I have seen nothing
in my 15 years of ancients that has recruited people faster or easier.
And, Campaign Warrior is also something that I kept on simmer while working on
the main event. That can be cranked out relatively quickly.
In fact, it is more based on returns from Warrior sales making printing follow
on supplements possible than any long delay for writing/testing. :)

There will be some buying back into the rules after you see a supplement on the
shelf, true, but 99.9% of the time a game supplement's sales are substantially
less than the core game on a per-unit basis.

Slightly off-topic, perhaps, but my guess was much more that the
lists/expansions would be the money-getters. The number of people buying
Warrior will be pretty predictable, at least in short- or medium-term;
it's likely that most of them will buy however many books they need to in
order to be complete, which drives your profit, no?

***This is true with Warhammer Ancients. They have sold 15,000
copies of the rules, but only around 6,000 of each of the follow on
supplements (Chariot Wars, Armies of Antiquity, and Fall of the West).
