I need to add some dismount figures to my army sometime over the
next few months, to replace the HYW dismount figures I am using in
the meantime with something more suitable for an otherwise very
pleasing (to me) army.

I had asked a while back about dismounted Lithuanian/Balkan boyars
and got some very good feedback from Mark Reed (thanks, Mark). Part
one of this request is for any further ideas anyone has - although
Mark's Donnington Vlad range ideas are looking pretty good at this
point. What I really want is something that looks like my mounted
Boyars (Essex 15mm Eastern Europe LITHUANIAN CAVALRY EMED23
Medium/heavy Boyar, lance, shield - see Figure #143 (Lithuanian
Boyar) in Ian Heath's (WRG) "Armies of the Middle Ages, vol. 2,
Eastern Europe"). In warrior terms they would EHI JLS,Sh but frankly
that is less important than the "look" which should not be far off
the mark anyhow.

Now, I have a "part two" of this help request. I need some
dismounted Crimean Tartars (Mongols) which would be HI LTS,B,Sh and
MI LTS,B. My mounted figures, which I would (ideally) like to match
are Essex 15mm Eastern Europe RENNAISSANCE TARTARS RNN8 Noble
Cavalry, lance, bow, shield and pistol for the HI and RNN2 Asstd.
Horse archers with javelins for the MI. These correspond, only
roughly, to Figure #147 (Tartar Aga) and Figure #145 (Tartar) in Ian
Heath's (WRG) "Armies of the Middle Ages, vol. 2, Eastern Europe".

For the Tartar foot anything suitably Mongol looking with the proper
weaponry (bows can be in cases or slung if need be) would probably
do, with a bit of a way to distinguish between HI and MI stands
(probably the presence or absence of shields being enough).

Thanks for any help or suggestions from anyone able to render such.
