If I had to surmise from Don's statements, he is referring to our needing to
buy extra copies in order to have them to sell when opportunity presents
itself. Downside is that if we buy extra copies and do not sell them then we
are "hung out to dry" by having spent extra income needlessly.

This type of thing happens often in my industry. The problem is usually
alleviated with a consignment agreement. But that potentially leaves FHE
"hung out to dry" by placing goods at no charge in the hope that they will
sell and the funds will then be forwarded to them. I have no concerns with
regard to Don's ability/willingness to do this, but the precedent may be
something FHE wants to avoid.

no, no, Chris - I meant new guys ordering them from us, not you having to
hawk them like paper boys. recruit, man, and leave the selling to us.

Warrior Stuff

If you want to see any of the following, you will have to get involved and
actually do something (recruit new players, talk to a hobby
store/dealer/distributor directly or both). We can't just make
these things happen without sales of and clear customer interest in Warrior.
We at FHE plan to work harder on marketing and recruiting over the next
year, but ultimately you the customer has to weigh in
and vote.

We have had several opportunities to sell books, but do not have the extras.
I do not know if the potential recruits went to the web site or not. The
catch-22 here is that if we had the books, we would have sold them, but we
do not want to be hung out to dry if we do not. I personally am open to
suggestions as to how to fix this? Note that Patrick has set up a Warrior
league at our local gamestore. We have 6 4X6 tables once a month. Should
get some exposure, although we will be fighting the 40K and MTG crowd some.
Also Mage Knight is big around here and comes prepainted so we have that
uphill battle to fight too. In DFW we keep waving the banner at anyone in
LOS. Hope we have caused a few at least to purchase.

Don

The only way I can see for us to have books to sell at Cons etc is:

1. You send us a few to try to sell (you are on the hook).
2. We buy some, and try to sell them (we are on the hook).

With option 2, if we do not sell them, we have spent the money and not
recouped it, hence if we do not sell them we are stuck for the cost or "hung
out to dry".

I purchased two copies of Warrior for recruiting. I have no victims in
the pipeline or a con to push them at.

If you want to make it happen, you will make it happen.
