Warrior Ancient and Medieval Rules

Sorry for being caught without my rules, but I not sure about
something. In order for a unit to skirmish they all need to be able
to shoot, not just the 2 front ranks? So a unit of 2 ranks B 3 &4th
ranks IPW will not be able to skirmish?

Also I've configured by Pilgrims thusly:

Front rank 3E IrgA J/sh
2nd rank 3E IrgC J
3rd rank 3E IrgE IPW
4th rank 3E IrgD IPW

Excuse my ignorance, but I'm not used to running such multy layered
units. If I charge I'm fine with the math, but If I'm disordered I
fight 2nd rank or rear rank? My understanding was rear rank, thus
the upgrade to C there, but I've never run into such a situation with
more than 2 ranks. If charged by mounted am I eagar C as disordered
or still A?
