Jon,

I have an Elephant or Chariot with NO 'missile' troops as crew. I put
LI who are missile troops on the base.

Under Attack orders, do I still get one unprompted charge?

Part of the rules count the LI on base 'as if a 2nd rank for shooting
purposes', they never fight hth, nor are they fought.

The El or Ch crew are NOT missile troops (if they were, clearly no
unprompted 1st charge under Attack, by the rules.)
