I hope this is within the bounds of this discussion group. Just in case
maybe better to reply off-line to jjmurphy@... rather than to
the list.
I am looking for some Falcon Miniatures 25mm Imperial Roman Auxilia to
finish up my EIR army (yeah!).
My question or request is does anyone know where to get these (Falcon
Minis US, not Falcon Figs UK)? The web address for them on their flyer
www.falconminiatures.net <http://www.falconminiatures.net/> is a
no-good link. One place I found listed Pheonix Games and Hobby for them
(www.pheonixgh.com <http://www.pheonixgh.com/> ) but this turned out to
be a busted link as well.
I rummaged through their half-price stuff at Historicon and found the
equites I needed but couldn't find any auxilia javelin foot.
Given the fire sale they were having at Historicon, are they even in
business anymore?

As I was looking at the Falcon table, I heard one of the people there say
that the original owner of Falcon (Jim, I believe his name was) died within
the past year. Since then, the company was sold to someone else, who is
supposed to continue the line. The figures being sold off at Historicon were
some sort of overstock that the original owner had left (with his wife,
maybe?). No information about the new owner or updated web site, but I hope
this helps some.

Yes.

Yes, and the catalog they gave out at Historicon was dated 2003 & had
the link you say is dead-- perhaps its just not up and running
properly yet.
I really like their 15mm Hellenistics; the Peltasts paint up really easily.
email is given as kastrofsky@...

The price of freedom is infernal vigilantes
Mr RHEA, of Tennessee, said...he believed it a correct principle that
all the militia should be armed under a Republican government. One
of the objects of such a Government was, that the people should have
arms in their hands; and those who legislate for them should take
every possible means to effect that object. For the want of arms
being in the hands of the people of the nations of Europe, their
liberty was lost. (Dec 1807)

www.falconminiatures.net <http://www.falconminiatures.net/>
now comes up with an "Under Construction" page, so apparently
it's "Not Dead Yet!"...
