The convention theme (which is totally independent of NASAMW's themes)
at Cold Wars will be the Dark Ages. As it stands right now, several
of the events being run by NASAMW will endeavor to tie into that
convention-wide theme (it's the first one in memory that's actually
been in "our" period). I'm thinking about running a Fast Warrior
tourney, Dark Ages only, as part of that. I'm wondering, tho, exactly
when to run the thing. One option is to replace the Warrior Mini (and
no, I don't wanna run the Mini as just a Mini theme, I don't think
we'd get enough players for that) with the Fast Warrior Dark Age
tourney (to run on Friday). A second option would be to run the Fast
Warrior tourney on Saturday alongside the Doubles tourney. That might
undercut the doubles tourney to a certain extent but it would give
players who don't have team mates a chance to do something. I'm
leaning toward a 15mm only event in either case. But at this point,
I'm simply dithering.
