Hey Folks

The Gamer's Lair

in Barrie, Ontario will be hosting a Fast Warrior tournament on
Saturday June 25, 2005. The games will begin with registration at
10:00 am, and the first round beginning at 11:00 am.

The first round will be an unscored teaching games to allow a number of
new players to get their feet wet before playing in the tournament
proper. There will be three scored rounds following.

Christian Cameron will be the Judge (he is the law? :)

I've certainly enjoyed the games I've played so far What exactly is
Warrior Battles though?

Boy, you can lead some people to the press release, but you sure can't make them
read it...lol

Warrior Battles will be our introductory level game. It will be played using
the same armies as Fast Warrior, will include two full-color cut-out armies on
hardstock so you can start playing right away, be upwards compatible with
Warrior, but without 2/3 of the rules and simplified movement, combat and troop
state mechanics. Warrior Battles games will be played on the same tables sizes
using the same terrain as Fast Warrior, but with less terrain types in play.
Games will take 1 hour. I will return to work on it the day the revised
rulebook goes to the printer.
