With great embarassement, I relate three things you need to change in Feudal
Warrior. I'll get these up on the web later in the week but figured it would be
easier for y'all to get em now and now head over there. Argh.
List 16, Anglo-Irish. Page 31, Line 21, Galloglaich: Delete "Sh".
List 29, Medieval Irish. Page 54, Line 9, Galloglaich: Delete "Sh".
List 30, Hundred Years War English. Page 55, Line 4, Household Men-At-Arms:
Change "51 pts" to "54 pts".
If you find something else here or in any other book, please contact me
*offlist* and include page number, line number, line "title" (like Galloglaich)
in your email.
Thanks,
Scott

Hi Scott,
Once again, thanks for yours and everyones hard work from Nasamw for
putting on a wonderful weekend of tournaments! I noticed that someone mentioned
that a player quit after their second game in the NICT because they were having
a bad tournament. What do you think about having a "Next to Last Place" painted
Fast Warrior army available as a prize? That way, players who are having a "bad
dice" day still have something to look forward to getting and perhaps avoiding
that nasty bye situation. I could be persuaded to provide such an army if you
thought it would help out(Historicon has put me into a painting mood). Another
thought would be to provide Painted units for various prizes. It doesn't cost
much to do and sometimes little prizes are more cherished than expensive ones
because of the event. I for one think that it would be cool if we the membership
of Nasamw could have prizes at the Premier show of the year! What do you think?
Kelly Wilkinson
PS I'm not suggesting that NASAMW pay for prizes in any form. I'm merely
suggesting that we the members that are willing and have the means, provide
little prizes of our own free will. I think it would be cool!

>Thanks for the offer but this situation and any like it at this level of
competition, has nothing to do with potential loot, it's all about self.

>I have an unlooked for source of painted lead that I need to follow up on over
the next six months. That might give us something for a long time to come.
>I think prizes, particularly painted lead, work better for newer players who
struggle to place in the top 50%. The top guys, again, are not *all* about just
getting more lead. FWIW. And, it's still hard to get some of the "NICT crowd"
to play FW. Ambrose played on Sunday and had a field day so let's hope that's a
trend.

Scott,
One of the reasons I wrote my post on the prize thing is because of the Cool
prizes that the DBM folks had for their tournaments. Pretty cool beans if you
ask me. It just seems to me that it would be neat to have more stuff for our
biggest show of the year.
