 |
|
A question on the Swiss list in Feudal Warrior. Under the general
troop types listed at the top, that are not assigned to any specific
period, it lists that Swiss Crossbowmen can be taken in 4-12
elements. Farther down, in the Late Period, it gives Swiss
Crossbowmen again, now at 0-8 elements. Does this contradict, or is
the intent of the 4-12 element meant to only apply to the Early to
Middle Period, with 0-8 only allowed in the Late Period?

>Take the reading of the list *very* literally. You are simply allowed more LI
Swiss CBmen in the late period. The 4-12 elements in the general section apply
to all periods.

Okay - now one more question, and I hope I'm not being too dense.
What you mean then, is that the 0-8 allowed in the Late Period is
actually cumulative with the general section, so that a Late Period
army would be allowed 4-20 elements (4-12 + 0-8 = 4-20)? Am I
interpreting you correctly?
