Warrior Ancient and Medieval Rules

I hate dice rolls. Any chance to combine or eliminate dice rolling
is a bonus from my perspective. So after thinking about the
discussion here on flank marches and fog of war I had an idea. What
if we moved the initiative die roll, which is currently in the
approach phase, up to the events phase and say that the initiative
roll also counts for the flank march roll. Just a thought!
