I used to use elmer's (white glue) mixed with acrylic paint and a dab of water,
then dip into flocking material, but have found that an enamel based paint,
usually a chocalte or tan color will hold flock better, then paint the edges
(used to flock those, but they wouldn't match up well) without flock. It also
helps to identify your troops in a game versus others. Since my group uses same
painters it can get confusing. A final shot of dullcote or flat spray will hold
flock down and give figures a nice protective coating. Hope that helps. Mark
