Delving into my Spearpoints and memory banks I have most of the winners from the
start of 7th in 1987 up to last year's winner.

2005 - Dave Markowitz - Alexandrian Imperial
2004 - Derek Downs - Khmer
2003 - Derek Downs - Sillian Korean
2002 - Chris Damour - Patrician Roman
2001 - Dave Markowitz - 100 Years War
2000 - Dave Markowitz - Seleucid
1999 - Dave Stier - Medieval Spanish (P)
1998 - Eric Turner - Yuan Dynasty
1997 - John Green - Alexandrian Macedonian

1996 - 25mm - Dave Markowitz - Khmer
15mm - Frank Scarci - Aztec
1995 - 25mm - Tim Brown - Late Imperial Roman
15mm - Todd Kaeser - Aztec
1994 - 25mm - Dave Lauerman - Seleucid
15mm - Dave Stier - Tibetan
1993 - 25mm - Derek Downs - Han Chinese
15mm - John Hermann - Inca

1992 - played in Denver - I don't have this info, any help????

1991 - 25mm - Dave Stiers - Sicilian (H)*
15mm - Bob Plyer - Aztec
1990 - 25mm - Dave Stiers - Sicilian (H)*
15mm Wayne Dare - Late Imperial Roman

1989 - help please

1988 - played in Baltimore - I remember Lou Cardinal won the 15mm event w/
Sicilian ??? and he played against the 25mm winner - a big man from California
playing Aztec. Site is famous for a meltdown and Lou rolling up on a prep shot
vs. Wayne Dare (Late Roman) in the semi and a failed waver check.

1987 - help please.

Well - that's the best I could do w/ the limited resources I still have. Hope
this helps and anyone that can fill in the gaps please send the info.

Todd K

I am not sure what Jeff wants, but I am looking for help with the Cold Wars Team
tourney as well, but only need 2002 on as that is when Warrior was published.

Thanks
Jon

Howdy,

Just a few points of clarification. Is this just for winners of the NICT,
or is there other stuff as well? Was there a time when there was a 15mm
NICT? Can you give me divisions based on 6th, 7th, Warrior?

Thanks,
Jeff

Jeff,

From 1990-1996 both scales played in the NICT w/ 2 or more of those having a
final game for 1 NICT champ - Dave Stier won both in 1990 and 1991 - this would
eventually lead to the current points system used and the multiple finals
players so the finals doesn't become a 1-0 victory w/ only 1 unit being killed.
These are just the winners and their armies used. I'm not sure when WARRIOR
took over and 7th faded away. There are no 6th edition champions listed.

Derek Downs won 1988 and 1989
1988 finals Derek with Bactrian Greek vs Vikings
this tournament was in Milwaukee - Wayne Dare was not in attendance

1989 finals Derek with Selucid vs Late Roman - Wayne Dare
Scott Holder wrote an article of the entire game that was published in
"slingshot?"

Site is famous for a meltdown and Lou rolling up on a prep shot vs. Wayne
Dare (Late Roman) in the semi and a failed waver check.

Aztec player rolled a one for a waiver against me "Derek"with his knights
I charged the saka wedges into them and routed them in 1988 nearly same story
