The details for the Warrior Theme at Hcon are now up on my ancients page (which
you can connect to thru the FHE site--plus, at some point I'll put these details
up, or at least a link, on the EVENTS section of the FHE site).

Whereas the Cold Wars theme stopped at the Sack of Constantinople, this one will
take up where the 4th Crusaders left off. It will include the struggles between
the Ottomans and various European kingdoms long after the Latin Kingdoms of the
Levant were retaken for the greater glory of Allah. I'm also including a small
core of armies that fought along the Baltic and in modern day Russia (converting
the pagan Prussians and Lithuanians) plus another small core of armies involved
in the proto-reformation Hussite wars. Lots of religious slaughter for all
concerned. Oops, that's not the *angle* we're supposed to take:)Smile:)

The Warrior theme will take place on Friday at Hcon, starting at 9am. As I
mentioned yesterday, if we don't get the Campaign tourney in place for Cold
Wars, we'll use it here. Otherwise, 1600 pt lists. One list only. Table size
the same for 1200 or 1600 pts, 6x4 for 15mm, 8x5 for 25mm.

I hope everybody comes out in large numbers to support this theme. We might
even be getting some outside support for prizes (in conjunction with HMGS' Theme
Year). We might even be able to free up Jake for one day to trot out his 25mm
Hussites to play!

Scott
