I was wondering where the Historicon Tournament
results are??? There are not published on the NASAMW
page or in Spearpoint. One of the few reasons for
receiving Spearpoint is to see who used what army and
how they did. I believe the Warrior Open and NICT are
currently missing - anyone have these results???

I don't know, Todd, and I must say I am pretty uspet with it myself.
I gave the mini results to Mr. Zorn by email a couple days after the event. I
am emailing the guys who rant the other events to see what they think happened.

This should be the last anti-Warrior spearpoint, if I have anything to do with
it.

What was particularly anti-warrior about it? I haven't looked at it
yet. A trip to the nasamw web site shows that the Warrior Mini results
were posted. Again, I think the Warrior NICT results just didn't get
"out". Can't speak to Spearpoint if they (any Hcon Warrior results)
were included or not included.

The editorial mentioned activities in other game systems - not Warrior.

There is no reason why the mini results aren't in there. If they were waiting
for the full results, they should have waited for it fully, and not published
DBM and not Warrior. If they were NOT waiting, they should have published what
they had.

No apparent effort was made to get the other Warrior tourney info. I told Mr.
Zorn who the other tourney coordinators were for Warrior and I find it hard to
believe Ed and Jake blew him off.

I am about done with my first Warrior clinic article and will begin, with the
next issue, to have as much Warrior stuff in Spearpoint as possible.

I am also drafting a mail to Eric Turner recommending some actions to start
getting some life into the society, which will include a recommendation that we
recognize that it is 2002 and a perenially late, paper-based product like this
isn't probably the most efficient return on the member's dollar.

This is in addition to my plan to make FHE as or more active in Warrior
tourney/promotion than the society can apparently afford to be.

J

As per the bylaws, I forwarded the Historicon Warrior results to Scott
Dickson during the week following the convention. Apparently they were lost
somewhere along the way. I am currently digging through all my paperwork to
locate a copy of the results and will get them out as soon as I find them.
Sorry about the problems.
