I could use a little help with figure manufacturers. I had been out
of the hobby for a bit and I find that several of my 25mm figs have
suffered minor wounds: i.e. their heads have gone missing and/or
shields are lost.Do any companies still make seperate heads and
shields and weapons. Any suggestions would be welcome.

Thanks,

Ted Furey

Ted,

You do not say which manufacturers your original figures came from - in this day
and age of the 28-30mm figs it can make a big difference as you do not want a
pelta to look like a hoplon or a head that looks like a pumpkin!

Ted,
I believe that QT still makes heads and perhaps appendages as well. When I
get home from work, I'll try to send you a link. Smile

Hey, Ted.

RAFM used to make a "heavy 25mm" figure that, in the day, was regarded as
first rate. I liked them.

Anyway, they produce (at least some) figures with separate heads, shields
and sometimes arms and armaments. I have Imitation Legionaires and
Sarmatians that I got from Carl Stevens about a hundred years ago, that
have all of the above as separates ... lost a head at the NICT that I still
have to replace.

You can find them at rafm.com (I just ordered some fill out figures), or
jump right to the historical miniatures liine at
http://www.rafm.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=RAF&Catego
ry_Code=RHM.

Hope it works for you.

Best regards.

Okay Ted,
It appears that Sabre Miniatures who purchased QT miniatures have been
purchased by Amazon Miniatures. the link is. . .
http://theminiaturespage.com/man/?id=amazon
Good luck in your search!

Ted,

You can find the QT range at www.amazonminiatures.com .

The 'bits & bobs' section lists all the seperate heads, bodies, sheilds and
weapons etc. with many of them illustrated.
