Warrior Ancient and Medieval Rules

Scott, Jon and list,

I am getting ready to place an order for 25mm Samurai figures. I
will start with the FW list, as it looks fun (264) and difficult to
run. However, I want to extrapolate and entire 1600pt army, so how
should I go about doing this?

Will the future list contain HG? Is there an option for yari
cavalry? Will there be a "REG" option? What would Ikko-Ikki be?
IrrA LMI 2HCT? Would there be a 2HCT option for samurai?

Rules Q: Can the Ashigaru skirmish? Front rank 2HCT back rank B or
LB. I've read the 6.45 skirmishing rules, but can't find anything
about everyone needing a shooting weapon.
