Got a nice surprise in my mailbox yesterday. The book looks good.

I can't wait to hear from all the list gurus about which armies are
competitive and interesting to them.

I already own a fair number of Nikephorian Byzantines. So I'm curious
whether people think the S standard is worth 120 points.

Of course, if I had the time and money the army I'd build from the
Dark Ages book is most likley Sub-Roman British with the monks. I
like quirks in armies. Second choice in DAW would be the Italian
Ostrogoths with the mandatorily unreliable Frankish allies.

Oh no. It's missing a page! Better check your other books before you
send them out.
