Hey List Hoser,

Who are you reading about this from? Just curious... have a library on the
subject bigger than I'll ever have time to read. My favorite is easily
Victor Davis Hanson (Western Way of War, Hoplite Warfare, etc), but just
curious if I'm missing out on some 'good stuff'.

Not sure if I'm the only one, but I'd love for people to throw out 'good'
source material they know of when they post info. 'Good' defined by
availability, readability/translation, and information. Lots of talk has
gone on lately about Byzantines and I'd love to find a Victor Hanson
equivalent in that area.

Thanks,
James

>Beats me. These are things I read about maybe ten years ago. Don't
have the books, don't remember the authors. I just remember the big
flurry of activity relating to the then new "working model".

>I have one great book on this and Paul tells me there's a brand
spanking new one out on the Komnenans. I'll dig up mine and ask him
about his.
