Boyd,

I think you and Jon need to meet on a field of battle soon. All
generals will be Bold so no one can blame a bad die roll. Maybe if
we can keep Derekcon's going down here (even though Derek has gone
into simi retirement) or get a Warrior open going at Hurricon and
Recon some of the big boys will come down to Florida and play. I'd
pay to just watch.

In all seriousness I have learned alot for the posts here over the
last 18 months. I'm an average player that consistantly runs a 2-4th
place in regionals, but can't win the big games. My biggest
tournament win was a 3rd or 4th at the Norbert Gisclair in 1990. I
have picked up a huge number of ideas from this forum. Little things
add up in this game, so please keep bickering.

I guess I have to offer my opionion on the HI/MI,JLS,B,Sh stuff. I
use a Viking LHI,Jls,B,Sh unit, but its not in the line. Most people
flank my Russ with massed HC, so its on the end. Its my only unit
that can (very delicately) skirmish away and commands enough respect
to make you think twice before blindly charging in. To me this is an
excellent skirmishing unit, but a poor line unit. SHK run through it
like "*&%# through a goose" even in the brush and the close order
isn't any better. SHK or EHK will always breakthrough even if he
doesn't kill you outright. I like pointy stuff in the line.

Wes
