Funny, Dave, but I was just working on this section. I'm taking a hard look
at what you said. Probably use something just like it.
Thanks!
Jon

1. Irr. A Charge Requirements

One aspect of the Orders Rules that I always found peculiar was that
bodies entirely contisting of Irregular "A" troops were forced to be
more aggressive under Probe orders thatn under Attack Orders. That
is, under Probe orders, a body entirely consisting of Irr. A has to
charge whenever it can, while that same body would only be required
to charge the first time it moved into charge reach under Attack
orders. (I understand that bodies that include but are not enitirely
made up of Irr. A have stricter requirements under attack orders).
Since attack is a more aggressive order, I would think that bodies
consisting entirely of Irr. A would act rasher under attack orders
than under probe orders (if they cared about orders at all).

I would suggest that the following line be added to attack orders:

"Bodies entirely of Irregular "A" must charge it they can."

2. Order of Hold and Wait Orders in Warrior

I would suggest that the description of Hold Orders be placed before
the description of Wait orders since the definition of Wait orders
incorporates in part the descripton of Hold orders. Not a big deal--
one follows the other. But again, since you are re-writing things,
you might as well simplify as much as possible.

Dave.

This is something I should have changed for 7.6 and just forgot about. Thanks
for pointing it out.
