Sorry Jon, Yahoo seems to have eaten a whack of my posts without
spitting them out. I have a follow up question related to this topic:

If a command is entirely in ambush, does it count a deployed command
for deployment purposes, or is it like a flank marching command and
doesn't count as being deployed because its not "on table"?

Have fun!
Cole

If i understand your question, it is really up to the deploying player. If
he deploys the command in any order but last, he will have to say 'i have
just deployed a command'. This would give away the mass ambush, but would make
the enemy deploy a command before the guy with the mass ambush would have to
deploy another. Or you could save that command for last and say 'all my
commands are deployed' thus leaving him to wonder if it is off table in a flank
march or in mass ambush.

Note there are no - I say again NO - secret die rolls in Warrior. Thus you
will know how many sub/ally generals your opponent has when he dices for
character.

Jon
