Hello

For anybody in Indianapolis, Boardroom games has another 2 copies of
Warrior and a few of the army books in stock now. I had the owner
order a couple copies for me and a friend of mine as well as some of
the army list books. He evidently ordered some extra which is nice
because the rules are on the shelves for all to see now.

My name is Brad Dunlap. I predominantly play dbm, and have been on
this list before. I am curious as to how many warrior players live
in the Indianapolis or near Indianapolis?

I am thinking of running a fast warrior tourney to go along with a
dbm tourney the first week of April. Depending on response and who
is interested I may in fact just run a pure warrior only event.

I just joined NASAMW and with Rich Novak stepping down I am thinking
of trying to make a go at being the Region 6 rep. Regardless of
whether that works out or not I am excited to start playing Fast
warrior ( using Ayyubids ).

Well let me know if your interested. I am probably just going to
run one anyway and advertise at the local clubs and gamestores for
it so keep an eye out on the NASAMW site for upcoming Warrior events
in Indianapolis. Hopefully a full fledged circuit can be started
here because Warrior imho is a great game for both new people to the
hobby, existing warrior fanatics and for people that are
experiencing dbm burnout and want to try something different.

Thanks
Brad

Brad

Welcome aboard.

Please check out the file labeled Fifth Horsemen progam in the files section,
if you would. Any questions - just holler.

Jon

Jon thanks for the info. Looks like a great deal to be honest. Do you have
any good demonstration game scenarios that are useful for teaching people how to
play that you have used in the past? Looking for something that could use up to
12 people and that would last a couple of hours. Something to put on at the
local gameshop to get a base of players interested in NASAMW and to get a
Warrior circuit going.

Thanks
Brad

I use historically matched pairs of Fast Warrior armies for demos. But a set
of demo scenarios is a good idea... I will add it to the list.
