To all considering a late Achaemenid army,
First of all the army matches up well against all Greek/Hellenistic
armies, despite the new advantages! Consider your opponents
weakness, do not play it "too cute". The army should act as one
living organism, hint; scythes chariots and javelin armed cavalry
and (or) infantry work very well together...
Save your money if need be, I need an aggressive doubles partner for
the 25/28mm doubles next Coldwars.
Best regards,
Craig

Sure - always glad to help. ;-)
BTW, I saw your figs up close and in person at H-con - they look awesome.
My weapon of choice is 15mm Xyston figs - which for the scale are very nice.
I am currently working on a 25mm Byz. Army (Gripping Beast figs). If I
could get my painting sloth of a brother to step up to the big boy scale, I
would jump at many 25mm armies - the figure selection has never been better.
