Here is something like what I played. Best I could remember. I know
I have the M/O and the LC correct, and if I messed up anywhere in
remembering it is in the Foot Sergeants and the Irr knight rear-
rankers.

I seem to remember running a unit of LI B trash with this army but
could be wrong.

Actually I think this might be it.

Note the absence of ditches!

15 units @ 1602
1x 2E Irr B EHK/HK L,Sh (PA) @ 178
1x 2E Irr B EHK/HK L,Sh (P) @ 118
4x 2E Irr B EHK/HK L,Sh @ 97
2x 6E Irr C LC JLS,B,Sh @ 109
2x 6E Irr C HI/MI LTS,Sh/CB @ 109
1x 2E Reg A HK L,Sh (P) @ 130
2x 2E Reg A HK L,Sh @ 94
2x 4E Reg C LC JLS,B,Sh @ 82

Now, I didn't win the tourney or even close, and it was a theme, but
I did better than my usual score, _maybe_ even over 50%, with my
typically uninspired generalship. And suprisingly things kind of
clicked with this army doing it.

I think there is enough LC here to provide protection for the
knights. And the sheer number of knight units gives a lot of shock
capability to play with so they do not have to shepherded like SHK
does. Basically if you see something even plausible as a target go
ahead and take it, and move two other guys up to cover for the next
bound.

I don't remember doing much with the foot sergeants and maybe I just
kept them back to guard the baggege.

Given that, I'd really strongly suggest playing it for a while. Suiting
one's style of army is often very important.

I'd run the regular LC all in 2E units, but not critical; there aren't
*huge* numbers of LC, though, so you might consider a LI unit or two. And
contrast this with the Granadines I posted a moment ago - if you're not
using the foot sergeants (and that doesn't surprise me) then perhaps try
the Granadines which offer everything else you have here, and better Smile.

Plus, I bet no-one knows what the Granadines look like, so you can use all
the same figures! Wink))
