First off, welcome back from Cold Wars everyone, sorry I wasn't able to
make it down. Maybe Historicon...

In the revised 14.46 from the files on this site it states that points
from the reduction of any army list in competition can be used to
purchase TFs etc.

If a list is under the competition total, say 1595 in a 1600 point
tournament, do those points count as a reduction and hence available or
are they simply lost?

Thanks
Cole

Thanks, Cole. Cold Wars was a great deal of fun (pay no attention to our banter
about results...lol) and we hope to see you at HCon.

Yes, you can spend those unspent points on anything from 14.46 that you are
entitled to.

I will say that 14.46 is one more thing making a strong case for a hard point
limit. I am concerned that a player might use a point overage on something from
14.46 which is *quite* against the intent. More to follow on that.

You're welcome, and I've been to too many tournaments to be surprised
by someone being a little bent out of shape and having something to say
about it Smile I'd be surprised if it was otherwise.

More to follow on that.

Thanks and there certainly is room for further abuse here. In the last
few lists I've done up I've come across several different ways those
extra points could be put to dishonest use :)

Have fun!
Cole
