Scott,
I have a couple of List questions that spring forth from the Fast
Warrior lists. First is List #193, King David Scots. Which is the
earlier list that this is based off of? I would be very interested
in using it. Second is in "Army List Volume 2" there is a Turk list
#93. What Fast Warrior List replicates this earlier list? I did not
also see it in your Master List Files. Will it be duplicated?
Finally, in playing Inca's #273, at Histroicon, I noted that there
were Chilean Skirmishers as Irr C sling or bow. In the earlier list
there are no Irr slings and the Irr bow are very much in the
minority. Is this an error that should read Reg C? I believe that
the histories and earlier list would support this as being Reg C.

Agapitoimou (my dear fellows):
Question for Scott re: List 47 (Old WRG, Book 1, never
superceded):
Slingers are listed and then afterwards the notation "Extra to
provide Cretans or slingers with Sh @ 1 point........Any or all."
Can I arm only half my slingers with Shield (i.e., the front
rank)? I recall some old NASAMW interp that required that ALL
Cretans and peltasts be given Sh or LTS, respectively, regardless of
what the list said...thus essentially changing "Any or all" to "All
or none" by fiat. Is that still in effect for Warrior? Or, say,
Historicon? Is the issue addressed in the rules or other list books
somewhere, but I missed it? Even if it does apply, does it cover
slingers or others besides peltasts and Cretans?
Another question: This list provides only 5 figures of Reg A
Cav. All the others are reg C. Can Allygenerals or CinC have bdygds
(on the same base or additional bases) that are Reg C? When one sees
odd numbers of individual figures in old lists (not divisible by
number of figs per base), does one round up, down, not at all, or
what?
Thanks. My Achaeans, after a year in the box, traveled to S.A.
to give battle to Dave "The Beast" Beeson's Carthaginians in a
really enjoyable and historical matchup. Kicking up my Hellenic
wiliness another notch, I'm trying to make all my mistakes this year
BEFORE Historicon, and recently enough to remember not to repeat
them. Bam! Battle report to follow.
Thanks.

>Any means any in this case. Obviously you have to follow the rules in terms of
arming every figure in an element with a shield or anything else I might be
forgetting at the moment. But, if you have a 6E unit of Cretan LI and only want
to arm 3E with shields, you're okay.

>Generally, repeat generally, you round up to the nearest even number of
elements. You NEVER round down to zero to avoid a minimum.
